I really loved the first book and would have to say that I love this one a little more. The story line picks up right after book 1 and from there we deal with Rowan and Citra going there separate ways. Rowan is always on the run. Gleaning Scythes that are corrupt. He is considered a hero by many but is an outlaw to some. Citra, on the other hand, has honed her skills as a Scythe. She has come up with her own way of gleaning. Many people love the compassion she bestows but some Scythes do not like her methods. When her life is threatened, it brings in new problems for the Scythedom and even the Thunderhead. Everything starts to fall apart and no one knows who will bring it back together.
Loved it! The ending made me want more! I cannot wait until the next book comes out!
