This book has been the catalyst for my addiction that is anything Juliet Marillier. It is not a book for the feint of heart and stays true to the old school mythology. You will not find any sort of Disney Princess story here. Straight forward conversation with the Gods as I would expect from them. A great twist on the myth of "The Children of Lir".

A quick warning for some. There are some trigger imagery in this book.
