A 1920's airplane pilot writes of his adventures delivering mail across the world. He also writes of his near-death survival in the Sahara desert.

Antoine de Saint-Exupiery descriptive writing tells such poignant detail: deep blue sky turning into a treacherous storm; cotton clouds and the peaks of the Andes, a near death experience in his plane; and then of the revolution in Spain. His philosophy makes the reader contemplate his written word. An excellent read.
