The best part of this book is that it is narrated by death.
It is good young adult fiction. It reminds me of "Number of the Stars"- most likey because of the obvious parallel that they are both YA books set in Nazi Germany with female protagonists.
I liked it, I finished it and I would introduce it to a 6th or 7th grade class because of the literary elements (narrated by death) and the subject matter- but I wouldn't say it is fantastic. Of course, what do I know.
