I had seen this on the shelf at work and the title immediately caught my eye... Abe Lincoln and Vampires, sign me up right? Just out there enough to get my attention :)

Didn't have the money at the time for it so I put it on my wishlist and forgot about it for awhile till I saw my friend Jackie's review and my attention sparked again. Lucky for me, it was on sale used for cheap so I snatched it up :).

It's an out there premise for sure, and in the wrong hands it could've been boring, very annoying or both. Seth Grahame-Smith did a wonderful job mixing the supernatural with the history of Mr. Lincoln's life. If not plausible, it was very entertaining. I found myself cringing but also slightly amused when Abe's first attempt at hunting went horribly wrong.

It was fun to see different events played out with a Vampire influence/twist... Makes you wonder how Mary would've reacted if she'd known the truth (probly not very well).

LOVED Henry... he and Lestat are my vampire boyfriends, back off! ;-)

It's an unusual and interesting friendship between him and Abraham.

The ending, I was surprised but happy... THAT was excellent little twist at the end. I wanted more of it but the book ended *pouts*

Can we have more of this world with Henry and a certain other person's adventures Seth, pretty please!! I'll make ya some cookies if ya do haha, do you like snickerdoodles? ;-)

The narrator (Scott Holst) was so perfect for this. Each voice was easy to separate/distinguish and he brought the novel to life wonderfully, many kudos my man *highfive* Will definitely be keeping an eye out for more narrated by him.
