Thoroughly enjoyed the story. It does focus on Mercy and Adam, but in a good way ... their relationship is developed more fully. However, the deviation from the other Mercy books is the focus on Native American culture which other readers may not enjoy, but I found fascinating and well-written. Looking forward to the next edition.
