I appreciate the author did some research (the Romans, Fair Folk, etc). However, I was annoyed repeatedly by Morgan. She was too stubborn/thick-headed. She does finally believe, but a convenient time. I think I enjoyed the secondary characters more than the primary ones. Especially enjoyed Ranyon. "I've got a charm for that!"
