I did not like this book at all. I don't think I even finished the first chapter. Which is a new thing for me. I used to take pride in the fact that I always finished the book. Nope. Too old for that crap now. I found the writing, hell I don't know, it felt contrived maybe? Too cliched? Something. I have pretty much given up on novels though. I would much rather read about someone's true life experiences, even if it is heavily embellished, in their own voice. But yeah, Bettie pretty much gives this two thumbs down. Way down man!
