Fifty Shades = that B movie that critics panned and bombed at the box office, but has a cult following. It's so unbelievably bad, it's good, kinda.
The excessive use of I also irks me. Ana's clumsiness also seems a tad overdone.
Christian= creep. He tracks her using her cell phone! Hello stalker!
I don't like how the author made Ana asexual (I get the virginity thing- that's popular in books, but never masturbated, really??) and then she meets Christian. Then, all of a sudden she can't stop thinking about it?! She also doesn't run in the other direction when she reads the rules/contract. I thought Ana showed some spine at the very end.
I'm tired of reading how Christian is so handsome, complicated, etc. I get it. Then there is Ana's "inner goddess" and Ana's "subconscious."
I didn't like how it was implied the those into BDSM = broken and need to be "fixed."
Overall, while I had issues with the book, it was entertaining in it's own way.
