I haven't read much Neil Gaiman; I liked American Gods but for some reason I didn't pursue any more of his. After I saw the mini-series of "Good Omens" I decided I might be missing something. Anyway, this is a sweet fantasy, definitely a throwback to the older tales from Lord Dunsany and James Cabell but with a little bit of fun poking at them. Nice settings, loved all the faerie creatures Tristan comes in contact with - even the nasty ones. My copy of this book has some photos from the movie that was made, I will have to look for it.
