A widowed neighbor becomes pregnant long after her former husband passes on. The close knit group of families living on the same street start questioning who has been involved with this relatively isolated widow and as a result is the baby's father. Is is on of the husbands of the families living on the street? That is the question throughout the book.

Delinsky is one of my favorite authors and I only part with her books when I get duplicates
