I read a lot of sci-fi/fantasy novels and I'd heard a lot about Anne McCaffrey. When I finally read this trilogy, I was kind of disappointed. Perhaps my expectations were just too high, but I didn't find much extraordinary about this work, though it had some interesting plotting.
