Beautiful Gift Book! For Pru Emerson in a Tory family , there is no community love. Most hate the Tories! Pru is only 13 years old and experiences hate at it's worst , a brick through their glass window which injuries her mother.Her former friends ignore her, her family is treated so badly they no longer attend school and the preacher at church treats them terribly. They move to Boston and live with like minded relatives, only that is not safe.They move to Nantucket Island where they finally find peace. This is a side that I have never read before the Tory side and very moderate at that about the time the American Revolution begins.A great Historical perspective on being a Tory.
