Another enjoyable Cussler novel! Although some of the events were quite far-fetched and more than coincidental (i.e. Dirk and Summer just happened to discover the wreck of the Chinese ship in Hawaii at the same time Pitt was involved in related events in Mongolia), this was still all that a Cussler book should be -- full of action, interesting ideas, and fun. And I did learn a few things from this book about the Mongol empire, Genghis and Kublai Khan, and the geography of Siberia and Mongolia. I especially found interesting the facts about Lake Baikal. It is the largest (by volume) fresh water lake in the world and contains over 1/5 of the world's fresh liquid surface water!
