When her husband and brother are killed because of ancient manuscripts Grace is working on, she goes into hiding to elude the man who wants the papers and her dead. Translating the documents is more difficult that she thought, and their secret bound up with the Knights of the Templar. It will take stepping back into 14th century Scotland to face Black Niall, the Guardian warrior appearing in her very explicit dreams, for Grace to help protect the Templar's power from modern day corruption.
