Good story, although one criminal became rather obvious. And I thought the railroad bridge incident could have been omitted. But it kept me entertained as I lay in my hammock in my air conditioned Florida room to avoid the heat and humidity outside. I've read most of Crispin's (that is a pseudonym) series on Gervase Fen investigations, and sometimes wonder how this Oxford don has any time to teach. :-)
