I really enjoyed this historical fiction novel set in Yosemite National Park in 1929. The author's love for nature and her extensive research infused the book with authenticity - I learned a lot about the Park.

The plot includes romance and adventure, and since this is a Christian fiction novel, the characters talk about their faith in genuine and natural ways, not at all 'preachy.'

This is the second of Barnett's Vintage National Parks series and I'm eager to read them all.
