Renegade vampire brothers are forced to deal with their family once again. It begins when the eldest, Alexander, is forced to morph into a full fledged mature vampire before his three hundredth year. Suddenly he is no longer able to tolerate the sunlight. But morphing unexpectedly is dangerous. Being caught in the light can be the end of you. But help can come in interesting packages and being indebted to a human female can cause problems for his kind.

Moments after dragging the hulking stranger into her home, Sara was attacked by her former mental patient. The injured stranger made a quick recovery and saved her. But being saved shouldn't put you in someone elses control. The stranger turns out to be something very unexpected and still she trusts him. Sara never expected to be attracted to a vampire who wants to protect her. But she has a life and a commitment to her brother who desperately needs her. She needs to stay involved in her own life and take care of her responsibility to her brother.

Each of them sees their relationship as going no where. They call it impossible and see no solution to the way things are. But in the end their tragedies will be resolved and they will find their love is not so impossible after all.
