Very well written and with an unusual premise. Historical romance readers will appreciate that combination. Of course, our heroine is a strong, independent woman but she has left her husband as a result of his actions. Years later, he still loves her and travels half-way around the world to fetch her home.
The journey back to England is representative of their individual journeys back to each other. With many twists and turns along the way, the two are forced to re-evaluate their feelings and discuss the mistakes of their past in order to consider a future together.
