Swidey goes into such painstaking detail and background about EVERYTHING, that "Trapped Under the Sea" should be considered a reference book on the event. I couldn't finish it. After reading a third of the book, I stopped. They hadn't even gotten inside the tunnel yet but I knew the history of all the companies that worked on the tunnel, and what their background stories were, and what other jobs they had worked on...
