I became a Jodi Picoult fan because of this book and I feel that this book was by far her best. The story is written from the perspective of all the different chracters' points of views which seamlesslessly weaves together to create such a powerful story. Unlike Picoult's other books about the human condition, this one really made me think and from many different perspectives. I appreciated the author's message and continue to form opinions about the legal issues pertaining to the issues that the book brought forth.
