Foxfire began as a high school project in the mountains of North Georgia. It became a magazine that collected stories and traditions of the mountain people. The magazine was so popular that several books followed. Foxfire 2 has ghost stories, spring wild plant fooks, spinning and weaving, midwifing, burial customs, corn shuckin's, wagon making and more affairs of plain living the way it used to be in Appalachia.
