Out of the Ordinary by Jen Turano
Apart from the Crowd Series Book Two
Miss Gertrude Cadwalader is a paid companion for a rather unusual woman, Mrs. Davenport. Gertrude stays quite busy keeping an eye on her boss and returning items that the woman...has somehow procured while at society events. Gertrude knows she's ordinary and that she'll never have a family of her own. Especially not a man as handsome and kind as Harrison.
Harrison Sinclair is a bit unusual too. He dresses in bright colors, stripes and plaids, and just plain odd pairings. He doesn't always quite say what he means...or perhaps he just says what's exactly on his mind. And now...he finds that since his friend Asher is engaged...he's now a man the women want to marry!
I love Jen Turano's writing. Laugh out loud humor, tear-jerking at times, but always a page-turner. Great characters and storylines.
