Beautiful Gift Book! I knew I would enjoy a book about covered wagons, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn this book began and ended in Joplin, Missouri. It was great to read about places that had pioneers and the book was written in a way that was clear and easy to understand, but not so simple that it was boring. It's a well written narrative and vividly describes both the good and bad parts of life in this area during the early 1900s. Highly recommended! It is well illustrated as well! And two families shared one covered wagon. What strong and adaptable folks!
