First in the Victorian Bookshop series. Bookstore owner and member of the Antiquarian Group, Miss Fenchurch and her friends are on the trail of a blackmailer/murderer. One in the same? She encounters numerous suspects and is thrown into the company of the Duke - making for a very precarious situation at times. Interesting cozy - details of the London setting make this very enjoyable. Looking forward to the next installment: The Counterfeit Lady.
