This story makes your heart hurt! It is not a cheerful book, pretty much from beginning to end, but none of her's ever are. The moral dilemma is an interesting one, but wish it had been written with a more hopeful point of view (would have been great if a Christian author had written it). It begins with very little hope and ends that way; as well.
