I really liked this book. The ending was a surprise, and Tory is very likeable, as is her roomate and the roomy's teen son. They play major parts in other books in this series, and the first book is great background. At times funny, this well written book tells the story of small town life in South Dakota, but could apply to many small towns across the country. Yes, there is graphic language and sex, but these characters are more real because of it--I son't see it as gratuitous.
