A good paranormal mystery/romance from one of the leading writers in the genre. To understand all that is going on, it would be best to start at the beginning of the Arcane series. Even though this is book one in a trilogy, it builds on a previous trilogy. It was fun to see glimpses of characters from other books, and I particularly enjoy Krentz's quirky leads.
