I really liked the CALL THE MIDWIFE book that I received. My only problem with it is that there were parts that were quite descriptive, so I would definitely not recommend it for a teenager or someone who would find this very offensive. Otherwise is was very informative and I liked reading more about the real life people after watching several seasons on public television. I am planning to try and get rest of the books written about life during this time.
