I really liked this book. I think my favorite part about it was the characters. Especially the main character, Clarity. Even though she is considered a freak by most of the townspeople, she never lets it overcome her. She stands up for herself and her family and is a bit of a spitfire. I get tired of the characters who are picked on and shunned and they are always quiet and being pushed around. Clarity adds a different refreshing approach to the "freak" in the book.
Not only is Clarity a freak but so is her mom and her brother, Perry. They are all psychics. Each one has their own ability. Most people in the town consider them freaks but the vacationers there love them. Until there is a murder and Perry becomes the main suspect.
The story was very nicely done. I liked the way the author made the teens seem like actual teens. I felt it totally believable. The only thing was I figured out who was the murderer early on in the book. Didn't find it hard to figure it out. Would I read the next book by this author? Sure enough!
