I thoroughly enjoyed the book except the ending was too abrupt. I could easily relate to Rosemary - definitely not one to sit by and do nothing.
The time period was one of my favorites and I simply loved the strong German characters.
The author did a good job of showing the strength and their troubles and tribulations of the people who lived during this time.
