Reluctant djinn Eden has been trapped in her bottle for 1700 years of a 3000 year sentence. When a trash truck knocks the stopper off her bottle, she tumbles right into Matt Ewing's lap...literally. Eden's had her eye on him for a long time - he's been jogging past her store window for months. Eden's only wish is to have sex and more sex with Matt. On the other hand, Matt instantly feels the attraction but thinks he is taking advantage of her so he abstains. It's not all hearts and flowers either, Eden's master, Faruq is a nasty piece of work and it's his job to keep her in her bottle or serving a master. He immediately senses when she escapes and is immediately after her because he wants her too. The chase is on - Matt and Eden need to find her bottle and elude Faruq and Faruq must get her back into the fold before the High Master becomes aware of the rogue djinn.

This is a rollicking good time which kept me turning pages to see how the outsmart Faruq. It's not just Matt and Eden either, there are talking cats, dragons and lots and lots of magic gone awry. A fun ride for anyone light hearted enough to allow the magic in.
