This book delves into Evan's past and gives us more emotions than he's been capable before. He comes out of retirement to help someone from his childhood foster home, and finds out this person has an even bigger connection than he thought. And woah! The ending is a doozy! I agree with the other reviewer here, this book is best read after reading the others in the series.
