This book should not have been written. It is simply a tired rehash of Brooks' cookie cutter plots and it just didn't work for me.
Mistaya is now a thoroughly rotten spoiled teen. She needed a good lesson in come-uppance. Instead, she does what she wants anyway, without regards for the consequences, and saves the day. Brooks covers for Mistaya's horrible attitude with a token "I've learned my lesson and am really sorry" paragraph at the end by Mistaya.
This was stereo-typical Brooks, so you know exactly what you are getting in a prepackaged form. Kind of like those packs of lunchmeat made from "pressed and cut" mystery meat. *shiver*
