Mare Barrow is a Red, born in a world where Silvers rule with superpower abilities, until she finds she possesses an ability of her own. She is then forced to pretend to be something she isn't while trying to fight for her people. When I started reading this I couldn't help but compare it to Red Rising, which I absolutely loved. There were so many similarities that it was hard to separate the two. That being said this book did have it's own ideas and it held my attention and made me want to know what happened next.
