This is one intense series of stories about the the good and bad Fae, and one woman trying to figure out how to help and not die while still wanting revenge for her sisters death. All of these Fae books end with cliff hanger stories, and then you have to wait endless hours, days, months until the next (FOURTH) book comes out. The author does skip time like nothing interesting could happen, which as a reader I found those skips irritating. This third book has such a cliff hanger ending that I'm grateful I put off reading it until today (it was a quick read), now I only have to wait until August to find out if Dublin has really been totally taken over by the shades, and if Mac survives sex with 3 death BY sex Fairy Princes. It's quite a tale, but start with the first book, I DON'T THINK THIS SERIES OF BOOKS STAND ALONE BUT BUILD.
