A mystery set in Roman Britain 91 AD with a female detective. This is the first in the series and has been re-issued with a new title "Shadows in the Night". It is funny and well plotted. This series will appeal to anyone who likes the Steven Saylor's Roma sub Rosa series or Lindsay Davis's books. This book is about a group of terrorist Britons who want to force the Romans out of North Britain. It is set in Yorkshire near York.
