This was a special reprint of Jayne Anne's 1986 story. Filled with intrigue, sunsets, steamy nights and love, this story of Hannah and Gideon was a fun read... especially with the small references to the 80s (who wears leotards to the gym nowadays?).
Hannah is gifted with the research papers and journals of her famous anthropologist aunt and must decide what to do with it all. Meanwhile, she must help her younger brother keep his business afloat. Which is how she meets Gideon cage, the wealthy, hard-hearted entrepreneur who's trying to close her brother out.
Within their first meeting, Gideon realizes that this woman makes him think, feel and see things differently. She inspires him to climb out of his self-imposed walls and find a balanced life and the love he's denied himself. Hannah is so focused on managing her aunt's legacy and figuring out what to do with her own life (and dodging attempts on her life) little does she realize she is the love that of his life. And he is her destiny.
