I'd heard about this story on the news & it seemed interesting to hear about the hostage's side of the story, but I ended up really hating this book.
I felt like the writer was very repetative & overall irritating!
I guess if you've had substance issues then you might be able to relate to her struggles & how she found salvation in her captor, but I had a tough time relating or even feeling sorry for her.
Besides the content, I felt like the book was just overall poorly written. Maybe if it was written by a 3rd party (someone with writting experiance) then I might have enjoyed it a little more?..
