What if you were granted everlasting life? Would you take that gift, even if it meant you could never stay with the love of your life?
This book examines that subject, with bittersweet results. While extremely well-written, it may be too nebulous and sad for younger readers. We are never quite sure what happens to the Tuck family, which may confuse non-symbolists, but it is a springboard for great discussions post-reading.
