ALANNA: THE FIRST ADVENTURE
This story was very interesting and fast-paced. A little short (I didn't want it to end so soon!) but very enjoyable regardless. I this this would be a great read for fans of Harry Potter-like books or any stories that have that type of world.

IN THE HAND OF THE GODDESS
This story was just as good as the first in the series and is an equally quick read. I've come to enjoy how the author doesn't waste a lot of time between events, like some do, and as a result you don't end up bored because you're reading how detailed starting a fire is or something else as uninteresting. I didn't want to put the book down because I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

THE WOMAN WHO RIDES LIKE A MAN
I have really been enjoying this series as its a quick read but full of imagination. Even though the author isnt as descriptive as some are for individual scenes, her concisiveness makes for a fast-paced read that still leaves you eager to find out what will happen next, but not leave you in angst over it for several hundred pages.

LIONESS RAMPANT
This was a satisfactory conclusion to a wonderful series. I had a hard time putting it down because I wanted to know how it all ended. Some of it was predictable due to all the foreshadowing, but that didn't make it any less enjoyable. Pierce has become one of my favorite authors and I'm looking forward to reading the Tricksters series next.
