I do love Dorothea Benton Frank's tales from the Low Country. This was a fascinating and informative book about bees. I enjoyed the part about Holly and her relationship with the boys next door. I didn't like the fact she couldn't see their father for what he really was. I wasn't so crazy about the part that branched off into Las Vegas and tales of female impersonators. Suffice it to say this wasn't one of my favorite books she's written, but mostparts are enjoyable.
