I really like most of Elizabeth Berg's books but only partially enjoyed this one. Range of Motion, Talk before Sleep, those were wonderful books.
Being from the same era as Ms. Berg, I love that her books always have reminders of my childhood in them. Things that I've long forgotten or ever think about until I read a passage in her books where she casually mentions something. Like the seahorse ads on the back of comics or kid's magazine. Or hankerchiefs with kittens dressed in overall motifs.
Those little joyful jolts of memory is what I liked best in this book, the story was only so-so and dragged on for too long.
