This is the book that taught me to sew! I had never even so much as touched a sewing machine or picked up a needle and thread when I read this book. The instructions were SUPER easy to follow. And the tips on sewing were spot on. I read the book first. Then, picked out a simple project, and I was off. I still wear the first skirt I made 2 years ago. Out of the skirts in here, I only disliked 2. The rest I have actually made either for myself or my mom.
5 stars. Would recommend it to both beginners and intermediate sewers. I still use this book even though now I am eons away from the beginner I used to be.
