The Lost Tomb brings together an astonishing and compelling collection of true stories about buried treasure, enigmatic murders, lost tombs, bizarre crimes, and other fascinating tales of the past and present. This was a very interesting book to read. I especially liked the part about the Monster of Florence. I need to read more about the Monster as I found that aspect of the book most interesting. The last section entitled The Lost Tomb was a great read also about the Egyptian tombs. If you like real-life stories of Bones, Burials and Murders then you will love this book. I'm looking forward to reading another book by Douglas Preston.
