I'm so glad Matilda gets her happily ever after! This is a second-chance, later-in-life romance that's sweet, emotional (more than a few tears shed), and once past behavior is explained, uncomplicated. I wasn't expecting novella length, but it gets to the point, which is much more satisfying than the slow pace that plagues a lot of the other Westcott stories.
