A look into the life of Kinta Beevoor; her Italian family and the Tuscan country lifestyle. Her parents married life began in a castle in Tuscany; Kinta & her brother John's childhood were a mix of Italy & boarding school in England. Kinta shares in depth of her life from childhood through adulthood; as well as challenges and struggles her family faced during World War II. Much is said about Italy's place in the war for historical reading. An excellent read.
