I read this book awhile back and I give it 5 stars. It is a good book if you think you might like to take your children out of public school as a motivator book. I recently bought it again at a library book sale because its so good. It is written by a teacher regarding the school system itself from an insiders perspective and that lends more credibility to this eye popping book. It only reinforced the reasons I homeschool my family. It does try to offer some hope for those still holding out that the schools can be changed but the overwhelming message is that after years of trying to change a bad system it still is a bad system. Easy reading. I finished it in two days and Im glad I read it.
