Disappointingly slow to start, in fact it is so slow that I wondered why the author even wrote this particular book. Things are hinted at but they have been hinted at for two books now. Nothing happens until about the last 50 pages, and then in true Blue Blood fashion you can't put it down.
My suggestion if you are having trouble getting into this one, skip to the end and then read the next book.
