I didn't really enjoy this book. I was hoping for a book that would encourage me in my marriage from a Christian perspective, but instead I found a book that was very focused on culture. One of the recommendations, for instance, was to make sure you're always up before your husband in the morning and always go to bed after him so that you can be sure your hair and makeup is always done. In my opinion, your husband should be accepting of the real you! It seemed like a "be the perfect homemaker" type of book instead of "here's way to grow your marriage" book.
